I’ve always been passionate about real estate, but it wasn’t until after spending 15 years working for the National Guard and in the legal arena that I finally had the opportunity to pursue my dream.
Working for the Colorado National Guard and Reserves and as a paralegal, I found myself struggling—both financially and in terms of fulfillment. I wasn’t even close to where I wanted to be in life. I had drifted far from my original dream of working in real estate, a passion that first took root in my childhood.
Growing up in Golden, CO—back when it was a sleepy town where everyone knew each other—I spent my days playing in the foothills, surrounded by nature and small-town charm. By high school, I had developed a deep love for homes. I was fascinated by architecture, constantly admiring different styles wherever I went, and I knew I wanted to work with homes and possibly design.
Over the years, life had taken me in a different direction, and I put my dream on hold. Eventually, I realized I needed more—both financially and personally. I wanted to help others find their dream homes while also creating a better future for my kids and myself. That’s when I made the leap into real estate, finally aligning my career with the passion that had always been there.
To build my career, I attended paralegal school while working in criminal courts for a judge. I found the legal world, particularly criminal defense and prosecution, fascinating. Though it wasn't architecture or real estate, I enjoyed it and started earning money. After graduating, I was hired by the school to help with student recruitment and even assisted in opening a new Nashville campus.
While in Nashville, I got engaged to a guy back home and eventually returned to Eagle, CO, where we built a life and had our two children, Garrett and Lexington. I loved our life in the mountains and we had a lot of friends. When our kids were very young, I began working for the Colorado National Guard, supporting Guardsmen and Reservists as they transitioned from full-time employment to deployment. It was a stable and meaningful job that I held for many years.

However, after 13 years of marriage, things at home weren’t great, and before I knew it I was divorced with primary custody of my kids. I was extremely scared and overwhelmed and my income wasn’t enough. I felt immense pressure to earn more to support my children. So, I took a position as legal administrator and paralegal at a law firm, commuting to Denver every day. From the outside, it seemed like a smart move, certainly a step up financially, but the stress quickly mounted. I had little time or flexibility to be with my kids, which broke my heart. Worse, I found myself further away from doing what I loved. Yet, one thing remained constant—whenever I went anywhere, I was drawn to looking at houses. That love I’d had for homes since before high school was still alive and well. Then it hit me—it was time to pursue real estate.
Divorce was life-changing in many ways and it also rejuvenated me. Being uncomfortable forces growth. I felt a new life and opportunity and for the first time in years, I was myself again. With a new sense of purpose, I pursued a master’s degree in law and in 2019 got my license to practice real estate. I am blessed to have finally returned to my love of real estate and to have found a career as a REALTOR®. I now work alongside a supportive team and I am being provided for along the way.
My children, who are now in their 20s, remain my world. I love them deeply and cherish the strong relationship I have with them. Outside of work, you’ll find me walking trails, working the barbeque grill, and exploring new restaurants with friends. Soon, I’ll be welcoming a new dog into my life. I believe that if you follow your heart, the rest will follow. That belief has held true since becoming a REALTOR®, and for that, I’m grateful.
Seeing my clients achieve their goals and feel satisfied at the end of a transaction is my greatest joy. I ensure a smooth process by being available, responding promptly, and anticipating their questions before they arise.
My legal background has trained me to negotiate effectively and pay close attention to detail, especially in contracts. I help clients understand what to expect and ensure their best interests are always protected. I approach every transaction with cautious optimism, believing there’s always a solution. My focus is on problem-solving, not drama—I address issues objectively so we can move forward efficiently. By anticipating potential challenges before they arise, I help my clients avoid unnecessary setbacks. Specializing in residential real estate, I’m dedicated to helping my clients achieve their goals while making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Sincerely,
